BRIGHTLY coloured floating lanterns will illuminate Oldham's Alexandra Park as Dr Kershaw's Lights on the Lake returns.
The Royton hospice is hosting its multi-faith service of remembrance, in partnership with the Oldham Interfaith Forum, at Alexandra Park Boating Lake on Saturday.
The service is designed to celebrate and remember loved ones by lighting and releasing brightly-coloured floating lanterns on the lake.
Lanterns will be available at the service for a donation of just £2 or can be acquired prior to the service from Dr Kershaw's Hospice, on Turf Lane or any of Dr Kershaw's Hospice shops in Royton, Shaw, Lees or Albion St, Oldham.
The service takes place from 7.30pm and all are welcome. For more information call Dr Kershaw's fundraising team on 0161 624 9984 or visit the website www.drkershawshospice.org.uk/
