HOUSEHOLDERS in Saddleworth and Mossley are being reminded that the boil water notice stays in force today.
United Utilities thanked customers affected for "their patience and understanding".
A spokesman said: "The good news is the water treatment works continues to operate fully, and we have now flushed through many miles of water pipes.
"We still have some final flushing to complete the network but we'll do this as quickly as we can.
"Public health remains our top priority so we will be testing water samples again throughout the network to make sure the water is back to its usual high standard.
