Search for driver after hit and run

POLICE are appealing for information after a 15-year-old boy broke his leg in a hit and run in Ashton.
Shortly before 7.35pm on Tuesday, police were called to reports of a fail-to-stop collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Wellington Road.
A lime green Ford Focus was travelling towards Ikea when it was involved in a collision with a 15-year-old boy who was taken to hospital with a leg broken in two places.
Police Constable Bailey, of GMP's Road Policing Unit, said: "If you have any information, or if you are the woman who stopped at the scene, please get in contact with police."
