HOLLINWOOD'S Housing Units is calling for its longest-standing customer to step forward, as it prepares to celebrate 70 years of trading in March.

The department store is searching for one special shopper who has shared in its history, witnessing the store's evolution from as early as 1947 to the present day.

To help identify its longest-standing customer, Housing Units is asking for shoppers to send in scans or photographs of their oldest receipts via email or social media. Customers will have until Thursday, March 9, to enter, with the winner being announced on Friday, March 10, on the company's social media channels.

Once identified, the longest-standing shopper will be gifted an exclusive Platinum Afternoon Tea for two in the Wickentree Restaurant, plus £70 worth of Housing Units vouchers to spend in store.

Housing Units' customers can expect multiple offers and competitions from the family business over the coming months, as it celebrates the loyal customer base that has supported it for 70 years.

Nick Fox, CEO at Housing Units, said: "We have fantastic customers, with some people shopping with us for generations. We're excited to find our oldest customer and thank them for their loyalty.

"Housing Units has been a part of the local community for 70 years, with us experiencing our strongest sales ever in 2016. None of this would have been possible without our customers, and we want to give something back over the coming months."
