A PHARMACY assistant's prescription of excellent customer care earned her a bright, shiny award.
Abi Wattleworth, who works at Well Pharmacy, in Glodwick won the Rising Star Award at the Recognition of Excellence Awards for her passion and dedication to the role, going above and beyond the call of duty for her customers.
She received the honour at a ceremony hosted by Training Matters at The Dorchester Hotel, in London, which celebrated those in community pharmacy who go that extra mile every day to support their customers, patients, pharmacies and communities.
Abi said: "I'm so proud to have this recognition after all my hard work and dedication to my career with Well, and to my amazing customers in Oldham.
"Caring for the customer is at the heart of my role and it is important that this is integrated into everything that I do, and the customer experience is something that I am passionate about, making the best that it can be for every person walking through the pharmacy doors.
"Working my way up from a delivery driver to a pharmacy assistant wasn't an easy journey, but being able to help the people in my community make the most of their health and wellbeing makes it all worthwhile".
