Shots fired in 'attack'

DETECTIVES are investigating after shots were fired in what is believed to be a targeted attack.
Shortly after 1.10am on Saturday police were called to Lynton Avenue, Hollinwood, to reports that shots had been fired.
Whilst there police established that a group of men had arrived outside a property on the street and caused damage to the windows as well as a number of cars before fleeing the scene.
Officers also heard four shots being fired.
Detective Chief Inspector Richard Ennis, of GMP's Tameside borough, said: "I want to assure people that we believe this to be a targeted attack."
