Date set for new store opening

B and M B&M get ready to open new bigger store in Chadderton, just 50 yards away from current site.
OLDHAM'S new B&M Homestore will officially open on August 31, just 50 yards away from the current retail outlet.
The original B&M store on Ellen Street has now closed in preparation for the move to the bigger store at Gateway Retail Park, off Chadderton Way.
The store currently employ 60 colleagues but the bigger space will see them taking on an additional 4 colleagues.
Della Yates, Store Manager of B&M Chadderton: "We're feeling really positive about the creation of new jobs for local people and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store. We are all really excited to get the doors open and welcome our new customers through the door in a few weeks."
The news follows openings of B&M stores in Ashton under Lyne and Burnage, creating 140 jobs in the county.
B&M is one of the UK's fastest growing retailers and customers can expect to find a wide variety of branded products including toys, food & drink, pet range, health & beauty and homewares.
