Trevor leads band to a national double

UPPERMILL Band came away from the National Brass Band finals in Harrogate at the weekend with two major prizes.
The band, the only Saddleworth brass band to win through this year, took second prize in the fourth section, collecting a trophy and £700.
Euphonium player Trevor Hughes collected the prize for the best instrumentalist.
