OUCH! Bradley Szakacs (15) has his legs waxed for charity by Tracey Seddon and Gemma Langley
BRAVE volunteers proved there’s no gain without pain as they took to the waxing table at Bella Sante beauty salon, in Chadderton, to raise funds for breast cancer research and treatment.
And it was two men that led the way by having their legs waxed, 15-year-old Bradley Szakacs, the son of salon owner Vicky Spencer, and his football coach Lee Whitehead. Around 30 customers attended the evening and enjoyed beauty treats such as botox and laser hair removal.
An auction was also held with prizes including an Oldham Athletic football kit and signed a Bolton Wanderers football.
Gemma Langley (19), beauty therapist, said: “This is the first charity night we’ve held and we raised over £1,000. Special thanks must go to Lynne Wright who donated £150, and Maggie Lewis who donated £100, and everyone who donated prizes and their time to help us.”
