Beavers scoop soccer trophy

BEAVER scouts from High Crompton were top scorers at the annual five-a-side football tournament for Crompton and Royton District Scout Group.
It was held at St Mary’s Primary School, High Crompton, and was open to beaver scouts, the youngest members, for the first time.
Winners were 3rd Shaw (St Mary’s), and Alex Kelly and Alex Williams were the team’s top scorers.
