Jase 502 is so right. I escaped Oldham thirty odd years ago. It was never a pretty place to live but it was a "nice" place to live.
Seconded. It looks as though I daren't go out or if I do then have to continually look over my shoulder when I visit my family this coming Christmas.
It`s only recently that any violence has been seen in Hollinwood. Funnily enough, I have`nt seen any Police or Community Support Officers in that area for a few months now during the day and early evening. Maybe their attendance should be increased in the area more now as a visible deterrant.
RIP X THOUGHTS WITH THE FAMILY

What a violent dump Oldham has turned into! I was fortunate enough to escape the place several years ago and certainly don’t look forward to visits other than seeing family and friends. It was bad in the nineties when I was in my youth but it’s really gone downhill since then…I wouldn’t have my time again for all the money in the world in its present state.
