Man on roof is arrested

A MAN who threw tiles at people and cars in Brompton Street, Oldham, has been charged with burglary.
He was spotted at 9.30pm on Wednesday when police were called after reports of a break-in.
Officers found a man on the roof throwing tiles. The 26-year-old came down shortly afterwards and was arrested on suspicion of burglary, affray and criminal damage.
He remains in police custody.
