Danger of driving after the night before

Date published: 22 December 2009

LOUISE Cliffe and Steven Carroll provide a graphic illustration of the consequences of drink-driving.

The young actors staged the aftermath crash in Oldham town centre — complete with bloody injuries and a wrecked car.

The hard-hitting “Mourning After” campaign by the Greater Manchester Drivesave partnership aims to stop revellers from getting behind the wheel the morning after a night out.

System One Travelcards also gave away free Day Savers allowing unlimited travel on any bus in the region for one day.

I saw the "mourning after" campaign in Manchester city centre a couple of weeks ago and I thought it was a very good campaign.

If it prevents one person from drink-driving, it has served a purpose, as this could potentially save a life.

It’s a shame they don't think drugs, at least 3 times a week I see people openly smoking pot while driving....... they never seem to get stopped
