Month wait and still no parcels

OLDHAMERS are still waiting for parcels that they expected to be delivered before Christmas.

Several Chronicle readers have complained after experiencing long delays in receiving their packages.

One man, who did not want to be named, said: “I have stuff that was sent out on December 13 and nothing, not one parcel, has come through my door. I have roughly 20 items waiting that have been ordered from various places that haven’t graced me with their presence. I am not happy with this service.”

A spokesman for Royal Mail said: “Any parcel which our staff have been unable to deliver in the Oldham area is returned to the delivery office and we aim to make the item available for the customer to collect within 48 hours.
