£1,500 boost for mountain rescuers

OLDHAM Mountain Rescue Team got a £1,500 shot in the arm from Saddleworth Musical Society.
The music-lovers handed over the donation to the rescuers, who have battled against bitter weather for weeks.

well done to the rescue team - waits for the council bashing team of fedup, meldroo etc to comment on council money which is public money being donated to this great cause.
