Sex attack on 87-year-old man in his home

POLICE are hunting a man who sexually assaulted an 87-year-old in his Oldham home.
The offender went into the pensioner’s flat on Trinity Street, Coldhurst between 7 and 7.20pm on Friday.
The elderly householder was sitting watching television when the offender knelt down at the side of his chair and sexually assaulted him.
The shocked victim told the man that his carer was due to arrive and the offender fled. He is described as being black or Asian, of medium build and aged around 17 or 18. He was dressed in black and was wearing black shoes with yellow soles.
Det Cons Simon Halliwell, of Oldham CID, said: “This elderly man has been left feeling shaken and understandably extremely upset by what has happened to him.
“We are doing everything we can to find who was responsible for this despicable attack, but we need the public’s help, so I’m appealing for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious to contact us.
“Incidents like this are rare, but I’d advise people to take precautions when they’re at home, by locking their doors and not letting in anyone they do not know.”

This is absolutely sick. Only in Oldham this would happen. I think the Asian community has to take a serious look at itself and do their best to find this man
This will be a real test of the good faith of the pervert's family & community. If they are decent people they will make sure he is taken before the courts.
Army-of-one, sex crimes have nothing to do with the sexuality of the attacker nor the sex of the victim. They are to do with a personality that wishes to inflict power looking for a victim who is vulnerable and accessible.
It's a power trip for an inadequate personality and has nothing to do with sex, just power and the ability to control and humiliate.
Wenkywoo says it would only happen in Oldham. Unfortunately it is not so. There are weirdos all over the place. If members of his family know what he is guilty of, they will just send him on a long holiday to the sick granny abroad,or to help out in uncle's take-away in Keighley, til its all blown over. They would never tell the police, because its family..innit.

to me,this is as seriuos as a murder,a poor old man sexualy abused by a dirty perverted b,,,,,d,the police should put all there resources into this case,and find this sick scum,and lock him up forever,i hope the poor man gets over this
