Hibbert attacks huge overspend

Councillor calls for explanation
A LABOUR councillor has slammed “a massive crater of overspending” by the leading Liberal Democrat party.
Councillor Dave Hibbert, Labour’s only Cabinet member, has demanded an explanation of Lib Dem finances, which he claims include a missed income of £250,000 from car parking charges, massive overspends and the loss of financial control of departmental budgets.
He said: “Are they incompetent, inexperienced or naive? The total of the funding corrections and the overspends comes to £1.5m.
“Shaw Road, Lees Road and other various Highway Schemes have all turned out to be significantly wrong.
“Most, if not all, of these errors have occurred in the Environmental Services for which councillor Mark Alcock is responsible.”
He said councillor Alcock should explain or resign.

you wont get a proper answer out of alcock, sykes or anyone else in the council.
all they are good at is driving oldham further and futher into debt whilst failing to deliver the vital services we expect and sell off as much assets as possible to shore up their over-inflated saleries.

All errors WILL have occurred in services for which 'A£cock The Omnipotent' is responsible. He is now responsible for virtually everything that happens in the known universe, and Saddleworth. If he could explain anything satisfactorily it would be a miracle of mind control. Dave Hibbert is three steps lower down this evolutionary ladder.
Just what is a 'crater of overspending'? Is it anything like a trough of overclaiming?

Would you now care to vent your spleen at the ruling Labour government for the state of the economy that Blair, Brown and Darling have presided over and all the financial mismanagement that has occurred since '97. Maybe he could stand outside Nr. 10 and tell Brown he should explain or resign!!!
