M62 chaos

ICE and fog caused treacherous driving conditions on the M62 this morning resulting in several vehicles skidding off the motorway.
Four lanes were closed between Milnrow and Saddleworth as police dealt with the mayhem. Cars skidded off at 5.30, 6.15, 6.30 and 6.45am. No-one was injured.

WINTER - ICE - GRIT How long does it take for the council to learn that roads need to be gritted in winter. Oh sorry I forgot, we spent all the grit money !!!!
