Man jailed for possessing extreme pornography
Date published: 03 August 2010
A 40-YEAR-OLD man who downloaded extreme pornographic films featuring animals and children has been jailed for 16 months.
Darren Toone, of Mossley Common, Worsley, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of indecent images of children and possession of amphetamines.
He also pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to 19 counts of possession of extreme pornography contrary to the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008.
Two of Toone’s computers were seized when police were called to the house Toone shared with his girlfriend after she was found dead.
Officers found there were no suspicious circumstances, with the details passed to the coroner.
Examination by GMP’s High-Tech Crime Unit revealed his computers had a large amount of commercial and homemade pornography.
This included 19 movies showing violent rape scenes and bestiality and two movies containing indecent images of children.
Det Con Karen Appleton said: “Owning and watching these sorts of films is not a victimless crime.
“People who pay to download these movies serve only to line the pockets of people who make them and create an industry that leads to the abuse of children and innocent people.
“However, thanks to the technology available to Greater Manchester Police, we are able to recover these movies so offenders cannot cover their tracks.”

Hmmmmmmmm possession of a few photos gets you 18 months, but the enforced prostitution of 14 year old girl and the sexual exploitation of her by several men only counts for 24 months. Well done UK legal system another great example of the two tier nature of sentencing policy.
Just throw away the key and protect the kids from this (i would say human )disgusting creature.
