Police have released this e-fit of a man they want to see in connection with a sexual assault on a teenage girl in Hollinwood.
THIS is the man police are hunting who sexually assaulted a teenage girl in Hollinwood.
The 15-year old girl was walking alone in Hollins Road at 9pm on February 16 when a man approached her from behind.
The man offered to give the girl a lift home, but when she refused he sexually assaulted her and the victim ran away.
The man did not try to follow her and walked off in another direction.
He is described as black and of a stocky build with a round face, about 5ft 10in tall and in his late 20s or early 30s.
He has a shaven or bald head, a wide mouth and was clean shaven.
PC Andy Pickering, from the Failsworth and Hollinwood Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “This was an unprovoked assault on a young girl who was on her own, which has left her understandably shocked and upset.
“If anyone saw a man fitting this description on Hollins Road on February 16, or if you recognise this offender from the efit, then please get in contact with the police.”
