OLDHAM police are making crime pay - by using drug dealers’ cash to keep youngsters on the straight and narrow.
Officers tackling anti-social behaviour in Coldhurst have used £400 of money seized from offenders under the Proceeds of Crime Act to spruce up Robin Hill Youth Centre.
As well as refurbishing the pool table and buying games, they’ve also donated a set of £1,500 mixing decks with money from the Police High Sheriff’s Trust and First Choice Homes Oldham to teach the young people DJ skills.
