85-year-old Ken skydives from 15,000ft!

A GREAT-grandfather raised over £1,000 for Cancer Research UK after doing a dizzying 15,000ft skydive.
Ken Partridge wanted to do something different for his 85th birthday and initially organised a 12,000ft tandem skydive at the Black Knights Parachute Centre outside Lancaster — but, feeling braver, paid an extra £20 to upgrade to 15,000 feet.
Ken said: “It was fantastic — that freefall was out of this world!”
His son Keith came from the Isle of Wight to watch, as did his granddaughter Nicola and her sons Connor and Jake and other friends.
Ken added: “My great-grandsons were over the moon, they said well done. I think next time I might try abseiling or diving over a cliff.”
