Knifeman tasered

POLICE tasered a domestic violence suspect after he lunged at them with a knife during his arrest.
The 37 year old was confronted by police at 8.30am on Tuesday as they investigated a domestic disturbance at Stott House, Eldon Street, Oldham.
The man threatened to kill them if they tried to arrest him and lunged with a knife before one of the officers used hus taser. The man was charged with affray.
