Crash sparks morning chaos

Scene of this morning’s accident at Heyside
THREE people were taken to hospital this morning following a crash involving a lorry, car and motorbike.
The accident — between an HGV, a Honda motorcycle and a Ford Fiesta — was on a bend at Heyside, near to the junction of Perth Street at 5.40am.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital suffering arm injuries; the car’s driver and passenger also went as a precaution.
Road closures caused traffic problems for several hours.
