Man faces conspiracy charge

A CHADDERTON man is one of five people charged after two people were shot in Harpurhey earlier this year.
Jack Biernat (27) of Thatch Leach, was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.
Police were called when a 56-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man walked into hospital on January 12 with gunshot wounds. The woman had an elbow injury and the man was shot in the hand in an incident outside a Harpurhey bingo hall.
Four other men are charged with conspiracy to commit robbery. They all appeared before Manchester City Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
