Judge Trevor Lees and Lucy Kershaw from Mahdlo.
JUDGES swooped on Oldham town centre to inspect the borough’s North-West in Bloom entries.
The group, led by key council figures and members of the community, were guided through Oldham’s displays to see for themselves the hard work carried out by the Parks and Gardens department.
Their tour also took in Coldhurst Community Park, Heyside Community Allotments, Uppermill Park, St Anne’s School in Royton and Dr Kershaw’s Hospice.
Oldham won Best City in last year’s North-West in Bloom competition (the category was based on population) which gave them automatic entry into Britain in Bloom.
