YOUNG Oldham musicians showcased their talent as part of England’s biggest free music festival.
Bands and singers covering electric, acoustic and urban music genres were on the bill at Mahdlo for The Big Gig.
The performers were all from Square 1 community recording studio and Big Music Project — a programme to help aspiring musicians with their careers.
The event was one of 170 “Big Gigs” nationwide aimed at introducing young people to new music and new people, giving them a chance to socialise and show support to local talent in an array of genres.
