OLDHAM CLUBBERS IN THE MIX WITH THE WANTED TOM PARKER Oldham’s leading night spot, Liquid, will be pulling in the crowds this weekend with DJ and former Wanted pop star, Tom Parker taking to the stage. Bolton born Tom, who has over one million Twitter followers, is already proving a big hit with the Retiro Street nightclub which is reporting record ticket sales for the exclusive event on Friday 8 August.

CROWDS will be gathering at an Oldham nightclub on Friday as DJ and The Wanted band member Tom Parker headlines at an exclusive event.

Tom, from Bolton, will be taking to the stage as a guest DJ at Liquid nightclub and is scheduled to perform a one-hour set including his new single, “Fireflies”, featuring Richard Rawson.

The Retiro Street nightclub is already reporting record ticket sales for the event with interest from across the country and even abroad.

Liquid’s general manager Terry Bruce said: “We are always looking for the hottest talent and look to bring it to Oldham.

“Tom is a massive star, who also happens to be from the local area and we are thrilled to have him at Liquid.

“Oldham is a fantastic town that has great transport links, now the Metrolink is open, and it is our aim to raise the positive profile of the town as a great place to enjoy a safe and fun night out.

“Being able to attract top talent, such as Tom, will only help our mission. “We’ve had people buying tickets from Glasgow to Kent and even had interest from America.”
