Canal boat removed

A BLOCKED section of the Huddersfield Narrow Canal was reopened yesterday after engineers removed a stranded boat.
The 60ft boat got stuck between lock gates near Limekiln Cafe, Dobcross, 24 hours earlier and despite efforts by local pleasure boat skipper John Lund, remained firmly lodged overnight.
