Tenants’ switch saves £15,000
Date published: 28 October 2014
FIRST Choice Homes tenants have saved £15,000 after taking advantage of a new energy supplier-switching scheme.
The social housing landlord, which manages 12,000 Oldham properties, joined Community Switch to allow customers access to better energy deals.
Chris Price, FCHO energy officer said: ”The partnership with Community Switch is about helping customers manage their energy costs by accessing the best deals.
“Community Switch are independent and find the best energy deals for customers based on their energy usage and needs.
“They also help customers complete the switch, and the figures so far show just how substantial the savings can be, and how easy it is to make the switch.”
