Beer festival a whisker away

Fundraisers will be getting their specially-grown moustaches into all sorts of beers at this weekend’s “Movembeerfest” beer festival.

The Saddleworth Round Table event will offer up to 18 beers and live entertainment at the White Hart, Lydgate on Friday from 5pm and Saturday from 2pm.

Round Tablers promise moustaches of all shapes and sizes will be on display: the theme for the event is the popular modern tradition of growing facial fuzz for charity in November.

The entrance fee is £5 on the door — including a free beer.
