ITV crew on Littlemoor Lane filming new drama “Safe House”
LITTLEMOOR residents thought their area had become a crime scene when police tape and officers appeared.
But it was all literally for show: ITV was in town filming the four-part drama series “Safe House”, a thriller set in the wilderness of the Lake District.
The drama tells the story of a married couple — ex-detective Robert, played by former Doctor Who Christopher Eccleston, and teacher Katy, played by former Oldham Sixth Form College student Marsha Thomason, a star of US series “White Collar” — who are asked by close friend and police officer Mark (Paterson Joseph) to turn their remote guest house into a safe house.
The cast also includes Oldham actress Nicola Stephenson.
