HORSES, dogs and even a goat gathered at Friezland Equestrian Arena, Greenfield, for a horseman’s carol service on Saturday.

The event attracted a number of riders on their horses and ponies, who enjoyed festive goodies after the service — mulled wine and mince pies for the humans, and carrots for the horses.
