Kebab shop owner delivers top award

A KEBAB shop owner from Oldham has won a national award.

Ifran Khalil of Glodwick won the Just Eat best delivery service accolade and was runner-up in the best provincial shop category of the National Kebab Awards.

The Just Eat listings website and ordering service that brings together registered takeaways all over the country.

Mr Khalil opened Wythenshawe-based Kebabalicious four years ago and is looking for new premises to expand his business after his success at the awards ceremony.

He said: “This was the first time we have been nominated in the awards and we didn’t expect to win it at all.

“I went along just hoping to have a good night and enjoy the experience then all of a sudden they read out our name. I couldn’t believe it.
