Bad-batch drug leaves teenager critical

A TEENAGER is critically ill in hospital after he took contaminated drugs at a party in Springhead.
Police were called to Ivygreen Drive at 5am on Sunday following reports an 18-year-old man had collapsed.
Officers were told that he had taken MDMA and suffered a reaction. He was taken to the Royal Oldham Hospital and is now in the high dependency unit.
Police believe the drugs were contaminated and have issued a warning to anyone thinking about taking them.
