Man arrested over floral tribute theft

A MAN will appear in court after allegedly stealing flowers laid to commemorate the death of an Oldham teenager in a road traffic accident.
Hantouli Raid (37), of Whitworth Street, Manchester, was charged with theft and will appear before Manchester City Magistrates’ Court on March 31.
A man was spotted taking flowers from a memorial on Canal Street for former Saddleworth School pupil Jack Essex (18), who had died a week earlier following a road accident.
