A WHEELY good time was the order of the day in Chadderton as riders celebrated the opening of a new skate park.
Skateboarders, BMX riders, rollerskaters and scooter users were welcomed to the attraction at Coalshaw Green Park.to show off their skills in a Skate Jam competition.
Free bike checks, face painting, arts and crafts and football tricks were also part of the entertainment.
The park’s designers worked with youngsters to make sure the finished park met their needs.
