A BEST-selling author will share the secrets of her success during the forthcoming Oldham Bookmark Festival.
Successful self-published author Sheila Rodgers, who writes under the pen name Rachel Abbott, will be in conversation at Oldham Library on April 21, where writing and self-publishing will be the subject.
Sheila’s novels have sold more than a million copies and been number one bestsellers on Amazon’s Kindle store. Her latest, “Stranger Child”, was published on Kindle in February.
Sheila (62) is originally from Worsley and lived in Saddleworth from 1982-2004. She and her husband, John, left the borough for Italy after she sold her company and they now split their time between Italy and the Channel Islands.
She said: “It will be interesting to be coming back to Oldham and see how it’s all changed.”
