The wrecked car
A DEVASTATED job hunter returned from an interview to find his car windows had been smashed by vandals
Komruz Zaman (29), of Shaw, had driven to the interview in Salford for a senior NHS job and when he returned to his Vauxhall Astra in Doveridge Gardens only an hour after parking, vandals had smashed every window.
Mr Zaman said: “I was devastated. I was supposed to be in Leeds for another interview later that afternoon but had to cancel it. I was stranded for hours while I waited for someone to collect the car. “I must have parked it in the wrong place but that’s no excuse.”
Mr Zaman was made redundant from his job at High Crompton post office at the end of April after seven years and has been desperately searching for a new job since.
Anyone with information about the incident on May 8 should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800-555 111.
