Drama: a motorbike and car collided
A MOTORCYCLIST suffered a suspected broken leg when his bike hit a car in Huddersfield Road yesterday.
The rider collided with the Ford Fiesta on his Suzuki motorbike at around 6.25pm at the junction of Cross Street on Huddersfield Road..
It is not yet known what caused the crash, which saw the motorcyclist hit the side of the car, but a police spokesman confirmed the incident is being treated as an accident.
Emergency services soon arrived at the scene and the injured biker was taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary where he is receiving treatment.
