Pond man lucky to be found

A man suffering from hypothermia was found with drugs equipment next to a pond in Bardsley by fire-fighters.
The crew was searching for a small fire but found the man, aged around 40, in Bardsley Vale Avenue at around 12.30am yesterday. He is believed to have been there for some time.
He was given first aid, oxygen and blankets before being rushed to hospital
Watch manager Gary Weight said: “It is very lucky we found him. He would have been out all night.”
