Kieran McNahon presents his cheque to Cole Maxwell (8) and Angela Higham from Dr Kershaws
A TALENTED musician has raised over £2,200 for Dr Kershaw’s Hospice with a series of fundraising concerts.
Kieran McMahon raised over £1,800 by performing 24 gigs in a non-stop, 24-hour dash across pubs, clubs and private houses in Saddleworth earlier this year.
The Springhead musician was determined to reach £2,000 and was given the chance to take to the stage once again at Delph’s Party in the Park, where a collection pushed Kieran over his goal limit. He presented Angela Higham of Dr Kershaw’s with a cheque for £2,268.
