Drunken girl’s bite attack

A 16-YEAR-OLD Chadderton girl bit a large chunk of skin from the face of another girl in a drunken jealous rage.
The girl - too young to name - pleaded guilty at Oldham Magistrates Court to inflicting grievous bodily harm on her victim on September 29 at a house in Chadderton.
The accused was at the time on bail for biting someone else in the face, a charge she also admitted.
The victim in the most recent case had thrown a party earlier that night. She was woken up at around 2.30am when the defendant shouted that the victim had sex with her boyfriend.
The attacker burst into the girl’s bedroom and repeatedly punched and kicked her. When the vistim tried to defend herself the attacker bit her left eyebrow and tore out a large chunk of skin.
The court was shown disturbing pictures of the horrific injuries.
The defedant admitted responsibility and said she had been under the influence of alcohol.
The victim said in a statement that she took pride in her appearance and would now have to have plastic surgery on her face to avoid a large scar.”
Magistrates will sentence the attacker on October 30.
