SADDLEWORTH and Lees District Partnership has announced the Christmas lights switch-on times for villages:
* Grotton, Junction of Oldham Road and Grotton Hollow is on Sunday, November 29, from 6.30pm.
* Lydgate, at the Crossroads of Oldham Road and Platting Road, on Thursday, December 3, from 6.30pm.
* Greenfield, at the intersection of bridleway with Chew Valley Road, on Friday, December 4, from 6.30pm.
* Springhead, at the junction of Ashbrook Road and Oldham Road, on Friday, December 4, from 6pm.
* Uppermill, at Uppermill Museum and The Square, on Saturday, December 5, from 4pm.
* Lees, across from Legends Pub, junction of St John’s Street and High Street, on Saturday, December 5 from 4.30pm.
* Delph, outside The Swan Pub, King Street, on Saturday, December 5, from 5.30pm.
* Dobcross, at Church Fields, on Saturday, December 5, from 6pm.
* Denshaw, at Huddersfield Road, Denshaw, outside Oddfellows, on Sunday, December 6, from 5pm.
* Diggle, on Huddersfield Road opposite Warth Mill, on Sunday, December 6, from 4.30pm.
