James the face of JD Sports

OLDHAMER James Hepworth is one of the undisputed stars of the JD Sports Christmas advertising campaign.

James (24) stars in the sportswear chain’s festive TV advert which was aired for the first time on Channel 4 on Friday.

He also appears on billboards across the UK and on JD’s social media campaigns.

James was plucked as just one of the five Faces of JD 2015 after he spotted the scouting competition on Facebook and applied.

The nationwide hunt also launched pop-up scouting sessions across five UK cities and attracted 11,000 hopefuls.

“It’s a privilege to have been chosen for this,” said James.

“I would definitely recommend “Be The New Face of JD” for anyone thinking about going for it, it can change your life.”

The campaign — which also focuses on sporting talent — is now its 4th year.

James’s popularity has now landed him a full-time modelling deal with the firm.
