Scrap car rap
Date published: 08 February 2016
POLICE were called to investigate reports of a gang smashing up cars at a scrapyard in Oldham on Friday afternoon.
The disturbance turned out to be actors and musicians performing for a rap video.
Police responded to reports from worried residents who said up to 30 men wearing balaclavas and stab-proof jackets were destroying cars at Multi Car Breakers in Cowling Street.
Officers found that Manchester rapper Adam Rooney, better known as Shotty, was filming a new video at the site, complete with smoke effects. He had been filming the video over three days.
