DASH-CAM footage has captured the moment a police van went through a red light in Oldham.
Greater Manchester Police has launched an internal investigation into the incident, on Huddersfield Road at around 7.45am on April 7.
Shortly after the lights go red, the van _ which does not appear to have its siren sounding or blue lights flashing - runs through the signals near the Oldham Motors dealership.
The footage was captured by Oldham resident James Warburton, who posted it on GMP Oldham’s Facebook page with the comment: “A police officer setting a fine example this morning.”
A GMP spokesman confirmed the investigation
