LANES closures will be put in place on the Oldham Way (A672) bypass next week.
It includes a full lane closure starting on Monday for a maximum three days in each direction and a full road closure from Manchester Street roundabout to A672 Oldham Way Bypass with a local diversion route on Wednesday for a maximum four days.
The work is part of an ongoing programme to strengthen the bridge which crosses Middleton Road (A669).
Contractors will try to minimise disruption as much as possible and drivers are urged to take alternative routes if possible, especially at peak times. Advance warning signs are on roads leading to the roadworks.
