OLDHAM Council won an appeal in its decision to refuse planning for a "Teletubbies"-style eco-home in Delph.
The Chronicle reported in January how the "environmentally conscious" design proposals would have a grassed roof to blend in with the hillside above Delph village, in the same way the house from toddler TV favourites the "Teletubbies" blends into the ground.
Council officers initially recommended approval for the site in Delph Greave Barn in Lodge Lane.

But Saddleworth Parish Council recommended refusal on "inappropriate development within the Green Belt" grounds.
It was then refused by Oldham Council in January.
Applicant Catherine Bingley said she wanted her "earth-sheltered home" to blend into the landscape so it can hardly be seen from the village.
Councillor Steve Bashforth said at the planning meeting last night that "the right decision" had been made.
