AN 11-YEAR-OLD GIRL is excited to be representing her hometown of Oldham in the semi-finals of Miss Teen Great Britain.

Alicia Farrow triumphed over countless other girls to win a place in the Little Miss Teen category, for girls aged 11-13 years, in the nationwide competition which takes place in Blackpool in October.

Alicia, who attends St Anne's RC Primary School, in Greenacres, lives in Abbey Hills Road with mum Rachel (32), Rachel's partner Michael Grady (56), sister Courtney (13) and younger brother Daniel (8).

As well as modelling, Alicia is also a keen dancer, attending the Infinity Dance school in Oldham regularly.

Excited

Proud mum Rachel said: "She recently signed up to Euro Kids and Adults Modelling Agency. On the same day we went for a photo shoot she was entered for the competition.

"I was excited and very happy. She was thrilled. She has always wanted to do modelling. She loves doing hair and make up and loves clothes."

On June 25, Alicia will be donning a Disney princess costume for a charity walk from her home to the Arndale Centre in Manchester.

The money raised will go towards Together for Short Lives, which helps children and young people in the UK with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions and their families to have as fulfilling lives as possible, and the best care at the end of life.
